Designing with movement scent research people
I connect UX research, prototyping, visual design, and scent interaction to create thoughtful experiences that reveal how people think, respond, and collaborate.
Smell as learning material
Playtesting scent rules
About Tarek.
I design experiences that make participation visible.
I'm an Interaction Designer focused on UX research, scent interaction, and designing experiences that reveal how people think, respond, and collaborate.
My work combines Research through Design, prototyping, observation, playtesting, and qualitative analysis. I am especially interested in multisensory interaction: how smell, ambiguity, memory, and conversation can shape participation and meaning-making in social contexts.

What I do.
I create visually compelling and user-friendly designs, specializing in UX/UI principles that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
I study how people participate, respond, hesitate, and make meaning through interviews, observation, video analysis, and structured reflection.
Crafting engaging, user-friendly websites with a focus on aesthetics and functionality to meet brand and user expectations.
Developing practical, visually appealing products by balancing user needs with innovative design and functionality.
I turn messy questions into testable activities, then use findings from each iteration to shape the next prototype, rule, or interaction structure.
I explore smell as an active design material that can shape memory, uncertainty, social play, and collaborative meaning-making.
